Search forms send the name, phone number, or address you enter to the third-party provider that returns results. Our servers do not retain a separate copy of those searches. A message sent to us contains only what you choose to share and is used to answer you.

Our hosting systems create ordinary logs containing an IP address, browser type, visited pages, and timestamps. Aggregated log data helps maintain the service and show which resources are useful. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where applicable.

The limited data above supports site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and page improvements. We neither sell visitor lists nor create individual visitor profiles.

This site links to government portals, county and state records offices, library collections, and third-party search tools. Each of those sites has its own privacy policy, and data you submit there is governed by their rules, not ours. This is especially true of the sponsored search results on this site, which are provided by a third-party company.

The site is served over an encrypted connection. We retain server logs only as long as needed for the purposes above. Because we do not run accounts, there is no password or profile of yours to breach on this site.

This site is not directed at children and is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Privacy Rights
Maryland's Online Data Privacy Act of 2024, effective October 1, 2025, provides rights concerning covered controller data, including access, correction, deletion, and certain opt-outs. Publicly available government information is excluded from its personal-data definition. Because we retain very little, a request usually concerns our contact mailbox or server logs. Use the Contact page to submit one. Howard County and Maryland public records remain under their custodians' control, so correction or removal requests for those records must go to the responsible office.
